TOUR DESCRIPTION

Day 1
Our three-day two night Kanchanaburi tour will begin when we collect you from your Bangkok hotel for your early start to this colorful market. An early start is essential as the drive to Damnoen Saduak is a little over one hour and we do not want to miss the colorful boats of this morning market. On the route to Damnoen Saduak, we will stop by at Mae Klong Train Market where you witness the market vendor's goods set up across the tracks of a working railway line. Just wait and see the amazing scene unfold when the scheduled train passes through this market! Before Damnoen Saduak we will make a short stop at a wonderful little Home industry producing palm sugar. You can see the sugar being made as well as try some of the sweet candy produced from the palm sugar. At Damnoen Saduak you well board a privately chartered motorboat where we will travel some of the canals on the way to the market and you can get a glimpse of real canal-side life. we will disembark the boat at the market and you will then be free to explore the market, you can wander up and down the canals flagging down boats and vendors as you please, or take the paddle boat option where you can really get amongst the action on the canals. We will proceed to Kanchanaburi where we will take lunch and again we will board a boat on the river Kwai to get a closer look at the notorious River Kwai Bridge. We will then transfer you to your Kanchanaburi Hotel.

Day 2
We will collect you from your Kanchanaburi hotel and head to the informative Thailand Burma Railway Center Museum and tOne of the allied prisoners of war cemeteries. to learn about some of the history of the notorious Death Railway and the harsh conditions under which it was built. We will then board the train at the River Kwai Station. The train will make its way through the lush Kanchanaburi landscapes and you will cross many bridges which were constructed by the POWs during the war. At the end of the railway trip, our vehicle will be ready and waiting to take you to your lunch venue. After lunch, we will make our way back to Kanchanaburi with a stop off at Krasae Cave and you can have the chance to bathe an elephant and try your hand at bamboo rafting before we transfer you to your Kanchanaburi Hotel.

Day 3
We will collect you at 8:00 for the drive towards Erawan National Park and one of the most spectacular Waterfalls in the whole of Thailand! Erawan is a multi-tier Waterfall and we will walk through the National park exploring each tier of the waterfall for those who enjoy a good energetic hike we can trek to the topmost tier No. 7. for those less energetic we can just explore the lower tiers. The crystal clear waters here are great for a swim if you want to cool off during your hike. After Erawan, we will proceed to our lunch venue and then on to Hell Fire Pass the notorious cutting which was dug by POWs and Asian laborers during the 2nd World War, here you will get to visit the informative Hell Fire Pass Museum as well as following the train route on foot through the pass. This will be the last stop of the tour before we make our way back to Bangkok.
